A Letter to My Friends' Mother

There are some things I’d like to point out to you, that you seem to be incredibly blind to.

YOUR DAUGHTER IS A FREAKING ROCKSTAR!

She is one of the most... 

Vulnerable

Brave

Diligent

Compassionate

Empathetic
Supportive 

and 

Authentic 

...people I have had the privilege of knowing.

Do you not see it?  

Do you not see how much she has sacrificed so that she can return, fresh and clean, to dwell again with her Savior?  

Do you not see how much shame she has shed and the lengths she has gone through to give up that which has kept her bound?

Do you not see the Light of Christ within her?

Maybe you would see it if you asked her about her journey instead of giving unsolicited advice detailing your perceptions of righteousness.

She does not need you to give advice

...or to fix her 

She needs her mom  

She deserves unconditional love

Your daughter is a warrior princess

She is a fighter

She will not lay down and be consumed 

She is unabashedly doing all that the Lord is asking of her

...and 

Following in His footsteps

I AM SO PROUD OF HER!!
